Daja Dial

Daja Dial is a native of Spartanburg, SC, and a graduate of Clemson University. The former Clemson All-Girl Cheerleader and Miss Clemson University currently works in economic development for the Oconee Economic Alliance as the Marketing and Communications Manager. In 2015, Daja was crowned Miss South Carolina and competed for the title of Miss America where she was a preliminary swimsuit winner, Children’s Miracle Network Miracle Maker Award winner, a STEM award finalist, and a top 7 finalist for the title of Miss America!

Since then, Daja developed a non-profit organization and opened a gym with her fiancé, called Tempo Sports Academy. TSA has a mission of empowering people of all ages to reach their fitness and athletic goals.

On the weekends, Daja serves as a host for the Clemson University Football pregame radio show. Hosted on the Clemson Tigers Network, she joins the team for her second year, broadcasting about all things tiger football. Daja still happily calls Clemson, SC home, and even after the crown continues to travel and speak about her passions for changing the lives of youth and women’s empowerment!
