Brad Schulte is the owner of the UFC Gym in Greenville. He is also President and Co-owner of NWS Technologies in Spartanburg.
Brad arrived in the Greenville-Spartanburg area 24 years ago when he transferred here while working for Westinghouse Electric Nuclear Service Division. At the time of the transfer, the family was looking for a great area to raise two daughters, Taylor and Shelby, and they found everything they were looking for in Greenville-Spartanburg. After 18 months here, Brad decided to leave Westinghouse and start his own company providing safety valve repair and testing services to the nuclear industry. NWS Technologies was formed in 1996. Today NWS has been in business for 22 years and is a leader in safety valve services for commercial nuclear power.
Three years ago, Brad decided to act on his passion for helping people become the best version of themselves. He felt there was no better way to have a positive impact on others than to open a gym that focuses on wellness, self-discipline, and re-connecting the mind and body. UFC Gym is focused precisely on this, through its coach-led class-based programming that is geared to many forms of movement while challenging the mind to connect to the moving body. Brad’s passion for self-improvement continues to grow as he challenges himself and others to embrace a lifestyle that supports mental and physical growth. He believes to be a better spouse, a better parent, a better sister, brother, friend or lover, one must do work on themselves first. Helping others requires the best version of yourself.
